Milieu's Staffed Residential service offers individuals a home in the company of roommates with 24 hour support from professional, skilled staff. Our homes provide a positive environment to focus on lifelong learning, skill development and participation in the community and household.

Our staff are trained in providing specialized support tailored to the needs of each individual who lives in our care. Milieu's residential staff seek to incorporate input, and to involve and inform those served and their personal support network.

We strive to provide a fun, supportive and safe environment which enables individuals to maximize their independence and enhance personal growth. Each individual is provided opportunities to participate in activities that interest them within the community. Each service is developed to address personal goal plans and support requirements, including those individuals who experience challenging and complex behaviour. All individuals are supported and encouraged to achieve personal success.

PROGRAM ENTRY
Individuals must be referred through Community Living British Columbia. Milieu responds to proposals as vacancies permit. The utmost care is taken to match candidates with the current residents and housing accommodations. Information on the application and referral process can be found on the CLBC website.
